Over 200 community health workers have been empowered to do vaccine outreach and administration across one hundred diverse high need locations.
In 2022 Sostento is delivering over $4 million in funds to resource the free and charitable clinic workforce that do COVID vaccination, education and outreach efforts. To date our network has achieved over 200,000 vaccinations in communities with high concentrations of poverty.

Our efforts help clinics overcome challenges to vaccine access.
Clinics in the program are provided workforce grants of $20,000 to $100,000 alongside targeted training.
Sostento trains clinics to coordinate free UberHealth rides that get patients to vaccination sites and staff to home based vaccinations.
Clinics are provided with tailored educational materials and outreach strategies to deploy in their diverse communities.
With the HRSA funding, Boat People SOS was able to hire medical personnel and engage with the elderly in their community, the primary population they serve.
