Approximately 26.7 million Americans under age 65 are without health insurance. Nearly forty percent report delaying or entirely skipping needed care or medication due to access barriers. Since our founding as a nonprofit in 2019 we have helped hundreds of thousands of uninsured people access care, and we’re on a mission to help millions.
Sostento solutions include workforce funding, technical support, and data collection that help providers deliver measurable, equitable impact. We have worked in more than 100 communities nationwide and continue to expand our reach through the generosity of our supporters.

Sostento is an Italian word that means to uplift, sustain and nourish. By 2030 we aim to help at least 10% of uninsured individuals in the United States overcome a barrier to quality healthcare
